• Vector and Tensor Analysis by Dr. Nawazish Ali

Professor Dr. Nawazish Ali Shah obtained the degree of M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics 1972 from University of the Punjab, Lahore. In 1974 he joined as a Lecturer in the Department of Mathematics, University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. In 1981 he was awarded the Colombo Plan Scholarship by the British Government for pursuing higher studies in UK.

He received the degree of M.Sc. in Engineering Mathematics in 1982 from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne, U.K. Later in 1985 he

was awarded the degree of Ph.D in Engineering Mathematics by the Loughborough University of Technology, U.K. He was appointed as Associate Professor of Mathematics in 1986 and then as Professor of Mathematics in 1993. He was appointed as the Chairman, Department of Mathematics, U.E.T. in 2002. He was appointed as Meritorious Professor of Mathematics in 2005 and then as Professor on Tenure Track System in 2007.

He was appointed as Dean, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Humanities, and Islamic Studies in 2005, from where he retired in 2008. He was appointed as Professor of Mathematics on contract basis in the Department of Basic Sciences an Humanities at the KSK Campus, U.E.T. Lahore. He has taught various courses of Applied and Engineering Mathematics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. His research interests are in the field of Computational Fluid Dynamics.
